Thank you to all of those who participated in "Thank You" Day events from 2002 to 2009.   Research Australia is proud to announce that over a 1.6 million messages of thanks to researchers were received over this period.   These messages reflect the strong and heartfelt views of many Australians and their strong commitment to Australian research as a means of improving health.

Research Australia thanks sponsors, event organisers, volunteers, member organizations, media and the many other supporters and participants who contributed to the success of our campaign.

We are currently working on our next public awareness program, and urge all of our supporters to continue to support Australian research excellence.

The annual awards will continue as the Research Australia Awards with a ceremony held in Sydney in November 2010.  Nominations and sponsorship opportunities are now available.   Find out more and don't forget to join our mailing list to receive your invitation.
